Tetford United was resurrected in the summer of 2001 after a 40 or so year absence. The Club entered the local league and made an immediate impact winning the Division 4 Title and Cup Double in their first season. Promotion followed from division 3 the following season and again promotion from division 2 into the top flight, division 1 the next season. This is where the team has stayed for two seasons to date with a 7th and 4th place finish respectively.
Tetford United have the biggest following of all 40 teams in the divisions and play on the Recreation Ground, East Road, Tetford, opposite The White Hart and behind the Village Hall. The team train on the pitch at Tetford throughout the season and everyone is welcome.
